Breaking Dawn Part 2: Meet Renesmee Cullen (Photo)

Everyone is excited to see the part 2 of the Breaking Dawn. While the much awaited last part of the Twilight saga series is scheduled to hit theaters on November 16, 2012, Entertainment Weekly gave a sneak preview on one of the main characters of the movie – Renesmee Cullen, the child of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.

It all started on June 12 when the magazine released on its official Facebook page images of a partially hidden, 11-year-old Mackenzie Foy, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart which triggered excitement among fans eager for a first, proper look at the “family.” Then the next day, the magazine revealed a full cover photo of Mackenzie holding hands with Rob and Kristen, who place protective hands around her during the shoot.

In Breaking Dawn part 1, Renesmee Cullen was introduced as a baby which was formed during the couple’s honeymoon on the Cullen’s private Brazilian island. The story ended as Bella woke up and turned into a vampire.

In Breaking Dawn part 2, Renesmee Cullen will be hunted by vampire Irina and the Volturi as it was believed that she was an immortal child. In an attempt to survive, the Cullens will gather other vampire clans from around the world to stand as witnesses and prove to the Volturi that Renesmee is not as what they perceived her to be.

The casts and director Bill Condon gave a hint on what to expect in this movie.

“Let me tell you, this movie is so weird. It. Is. Bizarre,” Stewart said.

“That’s kind of the huge thing that the fans are waiting for – to see the clumsy teenage Bella that Kristen did so well, suddenly become this super-sexy vampire who’s athletic and graceful,” Taylor Lautner said referring to Stewart’s vampire transformation.

“It’s a hugely important part. [Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart] were amazing with her. It really brought out a paternal instinct in Rob, and Kristen was very protective,” Director Bill Condon said in a recent interview referring to Renesmee Cullen.

“There were a lot of kids. But this was kind of obvious. It was one of those rare times when you see something – like with an apartment or house – and it feels good and you just need to take it. I felt that way, like, ‘Oh, this is good,” he added revealing his decision to choose Mackenzie Foy for the role of Renesmee.

Asked about resembling Foy, Kristen Stewart said: “It’s a really cool relationship. I hope it comes across. Even our hands look similar. It was kind of strange. But it’s funny how it actually helps.”

The last words went to Robert Pattinson who gave a hint on the ending of the film saying: “The end is so sweet. There’s this nice finality to it. Everyone who was watching started crying. It does a serious justice to the series.”
