Eli Manning Hosts Saturday Night Live, Ratings Up
Last night’s SNL was hosted by New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and if the increase in ratings from the past two weeks is any indication, it seems that people liked the Saturday Night Live episode.
In the current season, the highest record ratings still belongs to March 3 when Lindsay Lohan hosted the show. But this one with Eli Manning is now a close second.
While that is definitely something to be proud about for Eli, it should be noted that his brother, Peyton Manning, had a stronger SNL showing years ago, as well as his Super Bowl rival Tom Brady.
One particular sketch which earned a lot of laughs for the night was Eli’s clip where helped little brothers extract revenge on their “evil” older brothers. It was really funny and at the same time, played with the fact that Eli is indeed a little brother to Peyton.
Congratulations to Eli Manning for a successful stint at SNL. You could have gotten more share of the night’s audience if Mayweather vs Cotto weren’t showing. But in any case, looking forward to more NFL action from you soon.
Eli Manning teamed up with musical guest, Rihanna for the night.
