Mermaid Allegedly Caught – Another Hoax or Real?

Images of an alleged mermaid were uploaded in Facebook few hours ago by a certain Link Tungsen. A mermaid, as well know, is a half female human body, and has a lower body that is half fish.

There has been a great debate on whether real mermaids exist. Discovery Channel even had a program entitled, “Mermaids: The Body Found” which questions the existence of mermaids. There were even several pictures of mermaids that went viral in the past but apparently, they were all hoaxes.

NOAA or the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration even issued a statement in the past saying that there are no real mermaids.

“Half-human creatures, called chimeras, also abound in mythology — in addition to mermaids, there were wise centaurs, wild satyrs, and frightful minotaurs, to name but a few. But are mermaids real? No evidence of aquatic humanoids has ever been found.,” a statement reads at NOAA’s website.

Below are the recent photos of a mermaid that went viral on Facebook. Do you think this is real this time or still fake?
